DARK TRANQUILLITY Confirmed For Finland's QSTOCK

March 13, 2008

Swedish melodic death metallers DARK TRANQUILLITY have issued the following update:

"We're pleased to announce that we'll appear at the Qstock festival, taking place in Oulo, Finland on July 26. Our knife-wielding and Koskenkorva drinking friends in the land of the thousand lakes should note that this will be the only festival in Finland for us this summer, so make sure that you catch us on the upcoming mini tour if you can't make it to this show."

Also scheduled to appear at the festival — which is set to take place July 25-26 — are WITHIN TEMPTATION, STURM UND DRANG and STAM1NA, among others.

In other news, DARK TRANQUILLITY's Martin Brändström played guest keyboards on the track "Common Places" on the debut album, "Antenna", from the Swedish indie pop group OBLIQ. The CD will be released on March 14 in Japan and Sweden and through iTunes.
